Doubt he goes to Florida b/c of Jack Miller already being there unless he's really not as good as advertised. I don't know why but something tells me a northern school for Grayson. Nothing more than a hunch.

They should make a rule that half of the portal must sign with institutions north of the Mason Dixon Line in order to create greater balance.  This would prevent talent that is afraid of playing in outdoor northern stadiums after Halloween from all rushing to southern schools.

good idea....I would also like to have a quota based on the 2020 US census that each state can only take a % of the players in the transfer portal that corresponds to their % of the US population

I definitely think they need to restrict it in some way but I feel the can of worms is already open and flourishing so any type of restrictions that might be added will be met w/ sad emotions.

Transferring and NIL just leaves a lot of potential misuse of resources available for people.

Not sure if you were being facetious or not but I gave my thoughts anyway lol.

Jack Miller will not be starting for UF next year. They'll bring in a bridge type quarterback from the portal - not saying it'll be McCall but he's certainly one of the better options out there.

Why wouldn't Miller start? Are there reports of him being bad at practice? He's starting the bowl games so he must be doing something right

He's starting the bowl game because the starter declared for the draft and the #2 QB got popped for child porn.

Curious what Bell wants to be and how he will be used, I know South Carolina used him as a RB later in the year and he was awesome there I thought, especially against Tennessee.  Maybe he wants to be more of a TE and be used in the passing game like he was in the bowl game last year for SC.  If not and he wants to be more of a power back, FSU is not the place to go because they already have Benson who is a monster and one of the best power backs in the nation, they also have Ward and Toafili in the backfield.

So will be interesting if they use Bell as more of a HB type but his long term potentially honestly could have been RB but we will see.

Also Joey Gatewood is transferring again, it will be his four school in five years and I would call that pretty freaking ridiculous.  The dude should just switch to TE already and get it over with.  Armani Rogers former Ohio QB and UNLV QB is on the Commanders as a TE and he is similar in size, good athlete in college and found something at TE potentially.
