I almost think like this D could be great with somebody who let them play fast and got them all hyped up.

But yeah idk who fits that criteria of like a simple scheme, aggressive DC who's gonna be available. Whoever it is please for the love of god just keep it simple and aggressive lol. More than enough talent there

I was about to link to the coach from Not Another Teen Movie until I realized the YouTube video had bare boobs in it.

YouTube has porn. Nice.

I like Demeco Ryan’s however I do not think MLF gets canned. I would like to see what an aggressive young coordinator could do with this group. Maybe the guy from Michigan? Milton I think is his name of course there’s Lenherd but not sure he isn’t going to get a head job in college this off-season.

I just want to see an aggressive defense.

Sean Payton or Harbaugh.  Harbaugh would fit Green Bay coachingwise, but he's an against the grain guy,  he'd have a problem with Gute or any GM.  Payton wouldn't come without a solid young QB in the mix.

it is probably prisoner of the moment type thing, but I would really like a DC that is from a current staff that plays a much more aggressive style.

SF, DAL, DEN, BUF, NYJ

This could be the way. Issue is that with SF and DAL, their coordinators are going to be HC candidates, and their top lieutenants will likely take over as DC. Even Evero in DEN might be a HC instead of a coordinator next year even if the staff gets fired.

Personally I'd rather we splurged a bit to get a DC who has been there, done that. Maybe a failed head coach who wants to take over a talent-loaded defense like ours as a launching pad into another HC gig. Vance Joseph is a personal favorite of mine that fits that category, especially with Arizona likely firing their staff this year.

Problem with GB lately is we've been one of the fad jumpers with our DC picks. Got Pettine when the Ryan D was hot, got Barry when the Fangio D was hot. Every OC/playcaller is going to self-scout in the offseason and try to pick apart the most successful schemes in the league. With the Fangio D, it's clearly that it's a bend don't break style. Teams weren't patient in the past to take the short pass game and run the ball, now they are.

For LaFleur to hit a home run, he's going to have to get ahead of the curve and pick the next defensive fad, not hop aboard another bandwagon.
