I don't want to see another mock draft that has us taking a quarterback in the first round. Goff is playing the best he ever has and looks the part of a number 1 overall draft pick.

Let’s just go bpa and call it good. I’d love to land carter and a corner in the first.

I just realized we've doubled last seasons win total and still have 4 games left.

.500 at home. 4 home losses by 3, 3, 4, & 3 pts.

1 game under .500 on the road.

3-1 in our division, beating each team.

Over .500 conference record.

Positive point differential.

All 7 losses by teams .500 or better and in the playoffs/playoff hunt.

Our schedule has been super tough this year.  We have played three games against teams under .500 out of 13 games and two of them are in our division which are never easy.   But also the league is crazy in general this year with not many absolutely awful teams with only 3 teams eliminated from the playoffs with 4 games to go.

We are 5th in the league in scoring offense, dead last in scoring defense with a net plus 2 in total points which makes our record seem legit.  The last three weeks we are third offense and 14th defense with a much better margin.

The scoring offense on the road vs at home is huge since we are first in the league all season at home (32.1 ppg) and 24th on the road (18.4 ppg).  Given we have three road games remaining, including going to GB the last week of the season, we will have to improve on those road numbers.  We also are playing a couple solid defenses in NYJ and Carolina which will make that feat tough. But excited to be playing meaningful games at this point in the season.

The best part of the last three wins is they have been relatively comfortable which means DC has not had to make any crazy decisions or worry too much about clock management late in the game.  Not to say this game couldn't have swung the other way quickly if that fake punt didnt work out but in the end, it was a multiple score game. The Bills game was closer and he did have to make those calls and thats what cost us there.  I hope he is improving in that area and doing more research and trying to control his emotions and nerves in those spots to think clearly and make the right calls but I would rather have wins by more than 1 score so we don't have to find out.
