Isn't Joey Porter Jr also on that list and he is sitting out the bowl game.

Still not sure I am taking Forbes over any of these corners, maybe Garner but at his size with that safety versatility not sure I would, same with Watts.  Does help the CB depth though no question.

Kelee Ringo Georgia RS SOPH
Clark Phillips III Utah RS SOPH
Christian Gonzalez Oregon RS SOPH
Antonio Johnson Texas A&M JR
Joey Porter Jr Penn State RS JR
Devon Witherspoon Illinois RS JR
Ryan Watts Texas JR
Tre'Vius Hodges-Tomlinson TCU
Mekhi Garner LSU RS JR

Surprising thing is Michael Penix Jr is returning to Washington after leading the nation in passing.

He's an interesting guy. Good athlete, bad size for EDGE, great size for ILB.

A bit of Micah Parsons and TJ Watt about him. Not going to say he will be close to either but id feel good about him being an above avg lb at the next level. Probably LB2 after Simpson from Clemson

Will Anderson Jr Alabama JR
Andre Carter II Army
Isaiah Foskey Notre Dame RS JR
BJ Ojulari LSU JR
Mike Morris Michigan RS JR
Jared Verse  Florida State RS*
Nolan Smith Georgia
Nick Herbig Wisconsin JR
Felix Anudike-Uzomah Kansas State JR

Not sure I take Sanders over any of these guys though as a 3/4 OLB type.  Maybe Nolan Smith since he was hurt this past year, and maybe Anudike-Uzomah but as a pure pass rusher I would take him any day over Sanders.  Sanders I like but I agree he might be more of just a versatile LB type who can do a little of everything and not a every down 3/4 OLB.  He is a hard evaluation, Arkansas just lets their LBs run around and make plays regardless and sometimes give up tons of yards because of it.  When in a more structured defense at Bama Sanders showed some limitations as a pure edge guy for sure.  I was surprised Sanders declared, he had a great year but I doubt he is a 1st round pick when if he declared in 2024 he probably would have been.

These guys are edge rushers rather than off ball LBs. I think these guys would mostly be better in that role and agree some of these guys should go higher in absolute sense too, but id take him over 3 or 4 of these guys.

Maybe but as a pure edge rushers no way he goes ahead of these guys, especially the top 6 who could all be 1st rounders and that kicks Sanders out.  In terms of OLB types sure Sanders could be way up there but he is not better than Overshown and Overshown could be a 1st rounder.  Cam Jones could be up there in terms of OLB types and same with Payton Wilson who has great size similar to Sanders.

But a very athletic off the ball LB can play in the middle of a 3-4 which is what @MOSteelers56 was getting at.  Shazier was a weakside LB for tOSU.  As I have pointed out multiple times to the other Steeler fans, it took him 2.5 seasons to "get it".  During those 2.5 seasons he was playing like a 4.5 LB because of the missteps.  Tomlin will take gambles ( often) on high SPARQ guys.
