deeluxx3
just given how this org has been run since the Vrabel era began...I expect this to be an internal hire.
twotonebluenation
Would love it if we looked at some people under Beane. Love what he has done with the Bills.
twotonebluenation
I would for us to look for a guy who has hands in drafting great offensive line prospects. Teams who may have guys to think about. Dallas has had great success through the draft. Anyone who is involved at that process should be looked at. Will McClay could be a guy to look at. I love what the eagles have done with their line. Brandon Brown is with the Giants now but I know he was with the eagles. To get back to a healthy place on offense we need to heal this line. That's a pillar of who we are. I hope when we are getting gms, this is a strong focus for so many reasons.
KingTitan
We need GM. Bowl season wrapping up. Senior bowl is around the corner. We need someone in place to start to formulate a plan for this team. This draft too important to be behind.

Amy said in her interview that if she has to wait until after the Super Bowl to interview candidates that she wants to interview then she will. So, I think it's pretty safe to say that we're going to be behind lol. I just don't know how it's going to work with Senior Bowl approaching. Who do we even send? A lame duck interim GM and a lame duck scouting staff that has no idea what type of players the new GM is looking for or who the new GM even is? Seems like a recipe for disaster lol. Whoever comes in probably isn’t going to fire the entire scouting department. Smart move is to send a bunch, and know at least some will keep their jobs. If I recall correctly, he kept the scouting department in tact until after the draft and he then started to mold it the way he wanted. So I guess it isn't a bad thing, I mean 2016 was one of his best drafts. Senior Bowl is Feb. 4th. It appears there will be time. Just gotta get it done in the next couple weeks I feel. Not too much longer after the season ends.

Parts of our scouting department are solid, but the OL evaluation has been really bad lately, and that's where we need to spend the most draft resources this year, so...
