This would be much much worse than Chase not feeling comfortable playing. If this situation exists, Chase may be on a different team next year. Leaders want to be on the field. The report said "they were in agreement". You cannot keep leaders off the field.

It just doesn’t make sense otherwise. Chase is able to play, he may not be 100% confident but guys go out there all the time and play when they’re coming off injury. You can’t tell me that Chase doesn’t want to play. He’s cleared medically. He’s a guy who loves the game and will always want to play. They’re holding him out bc they don’t feel he’s going to be as effective as the healthy DEs bc they’re not coming off of a major knee injury.

We should win if we block their front 4/5 better & we have less penalties. Penalties & missed blocks killed us a lot last game

Or maybe Juice’s ankle injury is a bad ankle injury. It was worse than just a regular ankle sprain.

The big delay on CY return has really raised a lot of questions on what’s the back story. 
The history of this franchise on how they operate seems to promote that kind of thinking from the fan base on whether theres something going on more than just CY recovery.

That’s just a line that Rivera always uses. He’s so vague in his injury descriptions. He’s like Gibbs & Shanahan. He says a lot of words in press conferences but really doesn’t say anything or give any information away at all.
