If you hit me with more appeal to authority crap, I’m going to continue laughing and move on. There are plenty of articles that provide a nuanced breakdown. Notice how none devolve into "Zach Taylor is stupid". https://www.si.com/nfl/bengals/allbengals-insiders-plus/bengals-film-breakdown-how-o-line-protected-joe-burrow-slowed-down-chiefs-star-chris-jones https://www.theringer.com/nfl/2022/10/27/23426586/cincinnati-bengals-offense-turnaround-joe-burrow-zac-taylor Not to mention YouTube clips. Keep it rolling, Zac Jr. Your second article even referenced exactly what I said earlier - it took the Bengals offense half a season to play against a cover 2 (and they still struggle aren’t themselves when the defense goes heavy with it). Offensive line shifts are hardly a Zac Taylor staple LOL.

It's a league-wide trend, hardly something specific to Zach Taylor offenses.

Statistically, yes offense is down to 2008-2010 levels in terms of scoring, although we are just entering the last month when bad weather can suppress scoring even more. Danger
I think Herbert is good and a Franchise guy, but he's kinda overrated.
biggie.
Justin Herbert is not kinda overrated; he is the single most overrated QB in the league right now and it's not even close. Having a down year despite LAC going all in this season and looks to miss the playoffs AGAIN. Top five rn is Mahomes, Allen, Burrow, Hurts and Tua. Edited December 13, 2022 by biggie. Burrow is second and third in touchdowns and passing yards respectively. Geno is clearly a product of Pete Carrol's system. Get back with me when Herbert wins something that actually matters. Their numbers are comparable this season. But given the history of both of them respectively. There's more of a baseline of success for Joe Burrow and more one of failure for Geno Smith. Maybe Geno Smith has actually become that guy, but I need him to keep showing that for me to believe in him at that kind of level given his history. Well then I guess it really comes down to whether the question of this thread is top 3 QB's right now or top 3 QB's moving forward. Good thing we have that answer: Quote Based on this season so far I'd go
