If Stafford is ready to retire from this serious injury then I'd love to see Mayfield get a shot in Los Angeles to be the guy. There's a lot that has to fall into place, but I could see it being a great fit with McVay. As far as the Army guy, I wouldn't go as far as saying a Garrett clone, but he looks pretty good at rushing the passer. Everyone needs pass rushers so I could see him being a good fit on maybe 25 teams or so, really anyone who runs a 4-3 or a 3-4 with hybrid edge guys on the line. I don't think he'd be a great fit as a 3-4 OLB, just a 4-3 or 3-4 DE depending on system. He'd honestly be a good fit across with Myles on Cleveland. I know...it's not very realistic--should have traded away all days one and two picks. Strategy was to fix the offensive line going forward. I went LB-heavy in an earlier one and was told LB wasn't needed so I intentionally left it out. I thought it was a big need. But yeah, in this one there would be a FA signing, maybe two LB. With Jones and Wagner there all we might need would be a backup but they have a couple cheap guys who know the system so even backups isn't a big need. But we have nothing really opposite Floyd. Wagner would be a good guy to learn under. To clarify, we're solid at ILB. We need EDGE guys. I also don't expect the Rams to hit the OL hard.
