some of you crack me up.  Wilson is 5-3, White is 1-2.  Yes if Wilson starts the team is sunk and if White starts they will win!  What?

Thank You. Most this board thinks White is the 2nd coming of Brady and Wilson is beyond trash. Not gonna sit here and say Wilson is good. But to the extent of how some think he's bad is laughable. As I said after this last week. White throws for 300+ 2TDs and 1 INT and he did great. Wilson does it and he cost us the game. 3/4 of this fan base is cheering against Wilson, which is crazy bc as you said... he's 5-3 for us.

He’s 5-3 and no one was cheering against Wilson last week. Actually all his haters were actively cheering for him.

And he’s been as bad as to the extent we make it - the numbers support it. Those are the facts.

We will all be cheering for him Thursday, but he needs to be accurate or we won’t win.

Then White is bad as well and the numbers support that. He's 0-2 with 0 TDs and 2 INTs in his last 2 games.

Point being. White cant be good and the numbers support that. And Wilson was trash last week and the numbers support that.

In fact Wilson's numbers Sunday were better than White's last 2 weeks.

Someone wants to sit here and criticize Wilson... I'll listen to it. But soon as they start shining the light on that the comparison to that is White is good. They lose the debate IMO and I lost respect for their viewpoint. Bc for me in that regard. That's showing that they're just a Wilson hater and a White fan boy.

I go by what I see. In White I see a guy that can place the ball really well. He has great footwork and gets the ball out by 2 seconds or less. He even throws the ball before the WR makes his cut. The INTS he has thrown where dropped balls or last play throw. Now Wilson has very little ball control. He can't complete 60% of his passes. He is always under 60% it seems. The Wilson has no pocket awareness. He takes sack after sack. Then the moron throws he always has ever game. Just lob it up in the air. Carter made a great catch or else that one would have been picked too. Now you add in who the team wants to start. You know bobby that White is better than Wilson and I did not even have to tell you all these facts. Wilson can run the ball better than White but that is about it for Wilson over White. I will cheer for Wilson but deep down he is going to throw his 2-3 picks that will kill this team. The only hope is Q might be back.

White is 100% better than Wilson right now, but that doesn't mean he's good. He's like the other side of a crap QB coin.

Right here right now we need white to win this game. I hope Wilosn can pull it off but I highly doubt it. It is almost like the team has turned their back on him. They get so mad when he makes bad throws. I for think he needs to feel how bad he has been. He has over a season and a half under his belt and still struggles to throw the ball.

The problem with Zach is even when he completed the big throws they were 50/50 balls that could go either way. Even some of his short passing the timing is off and everything looks like a struggle.

Whereas with White he doesn’t have the splash plays but he’s a consistent qb from play to play and the offense 100% looks more comfortable with him under centre.

I don’t have a horse in the race as I genuinely like both guys. I’d love nothing more than Wilson to be ‘the guy’ but evidence so far is screaming he’s not it. White may never be that franchise qb but I think he could be a solid player.

Let’s just see what happens Thursday night. The Jaguars are no joke and are an ascending team but if we have any aspirations of being in with a shout come the Miami game then we HAVE to win this game.

I did say the same about the Lions though and I’d argue if you can’t beat the Lions and Jaguars at home in back to back weeks you don’t deserve to be even talking about playoffs…..and that’s no disrespect to the Lions/Jaguars.

This is where I’m at. And if it’s the QB who sinks their playoff hopes, so be it. They are the ones who built this QB room.

maybe Zach rises to the occasion in this one

The thing is is a QB can be taught to get rid of the ball faster and set their feet and deliver the ball accurately. Everyone can tell Wilson has arm talent. When he’s inaccurate it’s bc if poor footwork and mechanics. All things that can be coached. I’ve noticed a lot of his short throws that are inaccurate are when he’s flat footed or throwing off his back foot at a weird arm angle. He hasn’t deserved the ability to improvise yet. So he should not be making Mahomes like throws. He should only be throng balls with correct mechanics. And when he starts hitting those regularly. Then improvise a bit and use that unteachable arm talent.

Breece gave this team an identity for the first time in a decade, we lost it when he went down.

Wilson is 1-3 without him, collectively we're 2-5. White gives us the better chance to win, but the difference is marginal -- ineptitude up front contributes to this; Zach actually looks more comfortable playing unscripted, whereas, Mike White is useless outside the pocket. Again, White > Wilson.. but I don't see a big gap (assuming the OL continues to struggle). Neither are good enough to win without a ground game.

Crazy to think with Breece and AVT we're probably 10-4 right now. My outlook on the season changed drastically after that Denver game.

Which is to drink this Thursday night?

I’m an Australian Jags fan, rarely get to see them play down here. Will be on at midday Friday two days out from Christmas with work over for the year. Going down to the pub to smash a few  beers for this hehe
