For some reason, people are surprised that a project QB more than a year away from being ready isn’t ready yet. It’s a real time exercise in super unrealistic expectations. Titansfan Posted January 8, 2023 Share Posted January 8, 2023 Stayed up until 4:30am to watch this game and was too tired to post on here during it but boy are we so boring on offence. We literally ran the ball nearly every first down save for 2 or 3 despite the fact we were averaging 1.2 yards per carry and then the one time we try something different we scored out only TD. 😂. If Downing is still here next season even I will question Vrabel and I love him. We’ve been lucky to be in such a bad division and even last night the Jags struggled mightily to beat us despite our huge list of missing starters. Having said that, we were only still in the game because Lawrence missed some shockingly easy throws. I love Vrabel and I want him to succeed with us. He needs to start to relinquish a bit of his control and mindset and let someone from outside come in and take a firm handle on the offense. Will and Taylor talked on their podcast about the growth of Vrabel from his first year till now. If Vrabel wants to be special he needs to have a bit of self reflection after this year.
