I think Garoppolo/Stidham/second day rookie is the likeliest scenario right now. I really think the team wants to build up the roster with one of Gonzalez/Carter/Wilson/Murphy/Skoronski and pick Hooker/McKee on day 2.

It could take 3 1sts and 3 2nds to move up even 2 spots to get Williams or Maye.

It took 2 firsts and 2 seconds (one of them 2 years away) and a player to move up 9 spots. How in the world does that math work out that a team would need to give up 3 firsts and 3 seconds to move up 2 spots?

More coveted player at #1 especially if the team wants to take the player who has the top spot. Would have to imagine there would be a bidding war between teams

Jake Haener is better than Hooker

  • Hooker will be 25
  • coming off a major injury
  • coming from a gimmick offense
  • played with 2 future NFL WR studs

If Haener had went to Tennessee he would be a top 10 lock. He can ball, smart, tough as nails, athletic, accurate, can make all the throws, knows where to go with the football. Bryce Young gets the hype but Haener should be consider in that class. Go look at the film

I like Haener but top ten talk is just crazy.  You can argue Hooker but I would still take Hooker over Haener.  Lets resign Stidham and draft both QBs.  See what sticks or have a crap season and be ready to draft a top QB next year.  Trade Waller, Renfrow, Adams and Jacobs if they do not like it and go all in next year.  Try to mix Jones in with the trade for Adams to a team in win now mode.

Haener isn't top 10, but if he went to Tennessee/Bama he might be. That's how you draft steals, guys from small school. I like Haener and Hooker in the 4th, wouldn't be mad with Haener in the 3rd.

I would go Hooker in 3rd and Haener in the 4-5th.  I think you are more likely going to find steals when you get guys that are going to stay hungry after getting paid and are willing to keep adapting their game.  They have something to prove and love the game to the point that even when they can do whatever they want they still want to improve their craft.

I'd look at Haener in the 5th/6th.

Ok I'm predicting the Raiders will sign Baker Mayfield, now I absolutely despise Mayfield, but there are some things in his favor. He's a former top pick, he played in a strong division and was competitive, hopefully he's matured and will come pretty cheap. Could be the type that need a real second chance and McDaniels offense could be it.

Mike Florio who is super close with Mike Lombardi (Mick's dad) said that he thinks that we're going to make a play for Baker.

Like I said I really don't like Baker I thought his mouth and his girls mouth soured him in Cleveland. But if he took to this system he has enough talent to do some things maybe.

JMD reportedly loved him before the draft. He's one of the few bridge guys out there that has the potential to be our starter going forward.

You're being a homer....

Haener kinda sucks. He's 24, small, no plus traits. Arm is not NFL caliber. Not mobile to get out of trouble.

He wouldn't make the team at Tennessee.

Why? Other than his high salary, I don’t think it would take more than a 3rd round pick

Ramsey traded for a 3rd round pick, exactly What I said it would cost.
