Well, yes and a great punter is better than a terrible QB but at 7 you’d hope to get at least a good DE or DT or if you traded down you should be able to get an impactful DE or DT at the end of the first and get an extra second. That is what I was getting at, the second or third best lineman would be more impactful than the best guard. For me, the value just isn’t there. I’d never draft an OG in the top ten and very, very rarely in the first, though I appreciate some value different position groups differently.
