Maybe we can draft him at 13 start him at C as a rookie and then we have flexibility in our OL with him and AVT since Sko would literally play anywhere and AVT can play G or T. Optimistically Becton plays well and we’d have 3 nice young pieces for the OL with a developing Mitchell and more maybe. Browns fan here. Prying for Elijah Moore’s perceived trade value…even though I’d be dumbfounded if he wasn’t part of the Rogers deal But yeah, Skoronski would be a homerun pick for the Jets. He could play T, but would be excellent at C/G. Reminds me of Joel Bitonio.

When Moore requested a trade last year it was with an issue with our OC who is gone and Wilson who won’t be our starter this year likely. So his issues in essence are done. He’s a player and there’s no way we’re giving him away for anything cheap. When he requested a trade last year. We said we weren’t trading him and if we were it’d better be a 1st. I expect that line of thinking hasn’t changed. If a team wants him they’d have to give up a 1st I think (obviously not a high 1st) or a 1st value. We don’t want to trade him and we don’t have to trade him. In fact we want him here. So it’d have to take an offer too good to be true for us to trade him. I also don’t expect any players to be part of the trade with us and GB.

I think JD gave GB a very small offer and GB is pissed. They either take the small offer or have years of cap hell and no idea what to do with Love. They waited to long to move on from Rodgers. GB isn’t paying Davis the 10.5min he’s owed. Yes they could restructure him… but it’d still be costly for them. GB has no money to spend. That’s why they HAVE TO get rid of AR. So they’re not going to be taking on a guy like Davis. I don’t see any players part of this trade besides Rodgers obviously
JetsandI
Cooks is traded to Cowboys for 5th and 6th round picks. Davis' value is shot. Maybe 6th or 7th value. lol
Jag68Sid87
There is value in releasing Davis. His dead cap money is peanuts from what I saw. Ditto for Carl Lawson.

JetsandI
After Texans extended Tunsil's contract, I have looked around to see if there is any LT opening for Duane Brown just in case if trade is in order. Chiefs and Buccaneers have opening LT. I am not sure about Chiefs playing Jawaan Taylor at LT but they tried to acquire Laremy Tunsil. I don't think Chiefs will interest in Brown. Buccaneers have been on the point for the salary cap limit so they are out. I guess Brown stays until further notice. Brown, Tomlinson, ?, Vera Tucker, Becton. JetsandI
I think Jets should pass on OBJ and and use money on Ben Jones and Calais Campbell.
NYJets4716
Jets are showing interest in Center Ben Jones. Is he a upgrade over McGovern? I feel like McGovern was one of the most mid players out there.

Earned Pro Bowl and has worked for our current OL coach for many years in Nashville. He has been solid Center for many years.
KimuraGod
I would like to sign a vet centre and also draft one. Jones makes so much sense because of Dowling so I think this will happen. If we wait until round three to draft a centre I want Ohio State’s Luke Wypler. Big Jets fan from NJ too. That would be ideal.
jetjuice
Lol @ Packers fans literally saying they would take less from another team for Rodgers. Insanity at its finest right there. They are so salty about having to trade Rodgers for pennies on the dollar compared to what was being offered this time last year.

They will get fair trade compensation, nothing more. IMO a 2023 2nd is too much as well, but I am willing to do that and a 2024 conditional pick. You aren't trading the 13th overall for a 39 year old QB. What they don't realize is that Joe Douglas values that 5th year option that the 1st round picks offer.
KimuraGod
Up to $8m for Gardner-Johnson. Can’t believe we could have signed him and cut whitehead and been no worse off. If JD missed this then I’m upset. If he didn’t bother then I’m really wondering why?!?!?
