I think we have some needs but most aren’t wild.

Offensively I think we need a WR with some speed and size.  Maybe a backup TE and a developmental OL or two.

Defensively we have some needs for sure.  Just hammer the front 7 with draft picks and try to find a starting caliber DE/DT in FA.

Im not sure the need is as dire as some do, our scheme sucked and I think putting guys in better position against the run and more creativity with pressure packages fixes a lot.

I think prioritization depends on who’s available and what they’re gonna cost.

I think you could absolutely go BPA at any position aside from QB, CB, SS, or RB and not really be wrong.

I think positional value would mean we really need a legit WR to compliment DPJ and Cooper, and maybe even a burner at that.

I think we are lacking any semblance of a true ball hawk or FS, which should be a major priority. It doesn't have to be via the draft, but I'd honestly settle for the reincarnation of Brian Russell. Capable tackler, decent ball skills, won't get abused in the passing game. Don't get me wrong, I'd rather have Ed Reed or even a Marcus Williams...but just give me average to above average there please.

We are lacking a true MIKE linebacker, but in all honesty, if you have a dude like a healthy Anthony Walker, that's not a bad thing. I think you EITHER need a dominant DT scheme or a dominant MIKE, but not necessarily both...but I think you need one or the other.

I think Njoku and Bryant are "fine" as our TE.

I think our OL situation is great, but IMO you can never have too many guys and I really like this class as a whole. There's going to be some value to be had.

I think a legit 2/3 option could be transformative for this offense.  Especially if they’re a bigger dude with some deep speed.

Agreed.  Go find a vet somewhere.  We don’t need a long term fix either tbh.

Agreed.  I think a lot of the issues can also be filled with role players on day 3.  Gimme a fat guy who can occupy some blocks and a thumper.  Neither need to play on passing downs, we’ve got dudes for that.

I want a big mfer who can block.  Steve Heiden 2.0 bb.

Yep. We need a developmental tackle imo as Wills ain’t it long term.  Maybe Hudson is, idk. Still, I’d love to have 8-9 capable dudes.

In a perfect world, we'd land a legit #1, which I feel like this organization hasn't even attempted to do since Braylon Edwards 20 years ago. I think they even had Coleman pegged as a #2 burner type. This organization continues to lag WAY behind the football curve, and the lack of emphasis on WR is showing.

A 2 year rental would be ideal.

We are missing a true 1 tech in any capacity. If you go out and get a few situational EDGE guys, then do a NASCAR package with Myles and/or Wright on the inside and these guys on the outside. Even a SAM/EDGE hybrid, whether that's Taki or someone else.

I think Bryant is kinda in no man's land. He's not big enough to be a blocker and he's not athletic enough to be in the slot. He's "okay" I guess as a #2 TE.

I think Hudson is a guy they like as a swing RG and RT who probably isn't a LT type. It wouldn't break my heart to take a legit OL prospect Day 2 every year to be honest.

I just wish they’d look for bigger more physically capable dudes.  DPJ was a great pick.  Didn’t like Schwartz at all and Bell is the kind of guy I think you can find late.

Hell even one year.  Kick the can and address more pressing needs.

They definitely need someone with some burst on the outside.  I think that was supposed to be Winovich but he clearly wasn’t.

He’s whatever, but yeah.  I like him more and a #3.

Watching him go unblocked yesterday and miss the RB by a full 3 yards on that counter play showed me everything that I need to know about him as an NFL player. That was mind blowing. He can't be roster worthy next year.

And like, the guy we need isn’t a top 20 type thing.

There’s gonna be some dude available in R3-4 who’s 6’2 245 or whatever and had some burst but is not able to anchor against the run full time and will need to be a DPR.  Cool.  That’s all we need.

Give me back Kenard Lang and his gamely offsides penalty tbh.

We desperately NEED a new LT. How we accomplish that is TBD.

Jed Wills is TERRIBAD. He is not even a short term answer. His commitment to the game is a joke. That "just let me cash my checks" attitude is gonna get Watson killed on the field. He consistently allows rushers to keep pushing him back, and then if they disengage to go make the tackle - Jed stands there like a Bear Bryant statue with a look on his face of "Now what?"

I don't care how talented you think you are - give me someone who actually gives an honest effort every day of the week that ends in a "y".

Jed can go pound sand for all I care.

I think the priority is replacing Clowney.  I would love to hit a home run in the 2nd round if possible, and draft his replacement.  That kid Andre Carter from Army looks the part, and Ozumoah from Kansas State does too.  If we snagged a DT or WR in round 2, then hopefully a rotational guy with some juice would be available a little later!
