They had four drives and came up with three points. While you can blame the Kicker for missing a makeable FG, he did hit a 50+ yard FG on a previous drive.

Thinking back, no matter if it's Fouts, Rivers, and I guess now Herbie, this type of loss has been all too common for the franchise the last 40 years. 

But Stan Humphries got to the Super Bowl. Weird. 

Now we all wait and see if the Spanos family decides to cave into the incoming backlash for new blood, or anchors down.
