To make an easy 11K

Which is about 0.08% of the original bet. I’m suspicious. Casinos are one of the easiest ways to launder dirty money and I have a tough time thinking that a person willing to bet 1.4 million on a football game would do it when they stand to win less than a tenth of a percent more money

Probably some billionaire's uber rich 24 year old kid who wanted to be the life of the party at any random casino. You'd have to be known at the establishment for them to allow such a bet

Why the hell did Pederson go for 2pts down 4? No analytics tells you to do that. I get you play to win the game, but you have the momentum at that point so why not take it to OT? That was a pure gamble move. Paid off unfortunately for LAC, but had Staley done something like that and lost, he'd be fired immediately. Pederson got out of dodge with that one.

Confidence in getting 1 yard instead of 2. I'd go for 2 every time from the 1 yard line.

whats up with this team then?  They are slow at the start of games, halftime adjustments or what else? Thats quite a stat you showed,  makes last night 'almost' routine I guess.  I thought the Chargers failed more than the Jags succeeded, but maybe not.

I wonder how much he could have made if he had put that same bet on the Jags to win at that point in the game?  Would have been a pretty nice payday.
