"Up to" means there is likely a good bit of non-guaranteed money or money tied to incentives.

Can't get rid of that guy. He's the herpes of LBs. But yeah, Long is a really good player when he's on the field.

hrubes20
Good Lord. Ramsey's restructured deal only counts $4.11 million against the 2023 cap. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2023/03/14/inside-the-new-jalen-ramsey-deal/ That makes the Jordan Poyer and Dalvin Cook rumors much more feasible.

Perfect fit in the system. Hopefully he can stay as healthy as he was last year and the team gets another solid back to split carries.

I would like them to address the position in the draft as well. O line is clearly still a need and I hope that is shored up first and foremost. That David Long Jr. Signing was a “get”. Hopefully he can stay healthy but that is any player. Lot of talent on the roster hopefully McDaniel can bring it together chemistry wise to be a team.
Emerica
I’d be surprised if we make another splash signing/trade personally. Feels like we should be going for singles/doubles rather than homeruns at this stage. We have our core, just need to fill a few holes and bring up the level of depth. My money would be on a combination of them both. They will have $30 million or so to play with after Jones gets cut. I think they get another deal in the $10-12 million range, and then a few in the $3-5 million range to eat up the cap room and fortify the roster depth. Emerica
Tyjae Spears would be a nice addtition in the draft. Mostert, Wilson Jr, Spears would be a nice trio

I think they will have to take spears in the 3rd if they want him, doubt he makes it to round 6. looks like Wilson is set to resign according to reports. Assuming we address one of the RT or TE spot in FA, i wouldn’t be opposed to move up to early 40s if Jahmyr Gibbs makes it that far.. I don’t think it would be too expensive to move up 10 spots in the mid 2nd. If not then stay put at 52 and grab Spears in the 3rd i agree

I am not too keen on Miami drafting a RT they just seem to have blind spots in that regard. Like Belichick and Wrs.
