Absolutely no shame or negativity in not being league MVP as a sophomore, but the hype is incomparable. He bar was also set at considerably different heights upon their arrival. Mahomes went to a playoff team…Lawrence went to among the worst teams of all-time. The bar when they were brought in was different, but largely irrelevant. Justifying giving sophomore-MVP-Mahomes hype to Lawrence, as of now, is exactly what that dude was referring to in terms of overhyping TLaw. One guy won MVP and had an all-time season.
