You can scratch off Bienemy and Leftwich. Those have to be smoke and mirror guys because no way Bieniemy is doing a lateral move, and Tampa's passing offense is a joke.

The common theme among ALL of these candidates though is they are focused on passing attacks, which is a great thing.

It wouldn’t really be lateral because he’d get to call plays.

I disagree. I think it’s possible for Bienemy to make sense. While it would be a lateral move to a degree, as mentioned he would get to move into the playcaller role, but in KC he’s capped where he can be. With Mahomes there’s the sense that he’s the boy genius and everyone knows that Andy Reid is a made man on offense; plus Bieniemy has been up for a multitude of HC jobs but he never gets them.

It’s said that he interviews poorly but perhaps teams also don’t feel like he’s not the brains of the operation. So him going to another team within a similar role and if he spearheads Lamar Jackson into another MVP season, that’s probably an instant HC gig for himself.

Whats more the Ravens would equally benefit because if that happens it likely means that they’ve had plenty of team success offensively and lastly it would mean that we would be the team to acquire those two third round picks for “developing Bienemy into a HC.”😈

EDIT: Best believe if it’s close between two candidates, the added compensatory picks will absolutely be a bigger deal to our franchise than probably most others making a similar decision.

EDIT2: ADD must’ve took hold, meant to say “he interviews POORLY and that he’s NOT the brains of the operation. But that if he turns our offense back into a juggernaut that would instantly change and he’d be considered the “architect” and “brains” as he legitimately might be. Also KC benefits by getting a fresh face into the role. You don’t want things to get stale- would be a lateral move similar to Wink with the Giants.
