Kiwibrown
Our offense was great to start the year but got weaker as the year went on. For my mind DPJ is not a no. 2 wr. He is a very good no.3 At the moment he doesn't consistently get open enough. Amazing hands. Cooper at this point has 1-2 years left of high level production. If we don't get a wr in this draft we will certainly need one next year. I'm not confident in David Bell being much more than Rashard Higgins, Woods seems like a solid no. 4 maybe a little potential there but again we can't expect too much from him. On the cheap I would like to add DeSean Jackson. If not Jackson someone who can get deep. It's not that I see us running air croyal or anything but we need a threat to get deep. I think DeSean can still do that on a limited basis. I'd like another tightend who is big in the draft in the latter rounds.
hornbybrown
Imo we need a burner at WR who can actually catch the ball and is as soft as a cushion. Unfortunately we also need a LT. Pretty much anyone with a pulse would be a upgrade. those are the immediate needs. Longer term more help at WR because as you said Coopers play will drop off at some point but I think he has a bit longer than 1-2 years before that happens
hornbybrown
I’m giving Bryant one more year to prove he is worth the second TE spot

He has pretty good hands, but he is not strong, he is more of a WR than a true TE.
big poppa pump
Give me a TE from the Big 10. I know that is a general statement, and they are not all created equal, however, a lot of the premier TE's in the league seem to come from there. Lots of dudes out there that are 6'5 and 250. Some block better, some catch better, and some are freak athletes. I just want a steady guy that doesn't make mistakes, and can be counted on to catch the ball on 3rd downs to keep the chains moving. Obviously we need a burner at WR too........... I'm not investing in the OL this year, unless it's a later round Tackle
BetterCallSaul
Offensive Needs In Order Of Importance: 1. Elite WR 2. Backup QB 3. 2nd or 3rd String TE 4. Universal Backup OL 5. FB 6. RB ---------------------- 1. Elite WR (Very unlikely to be solved. I wouldn't spend assets on this, as we have meh WR's, not dangerously awful ones. Draft RAKIM JARRETT in R4-R5 and hope.) 2. Backup QB (There are plenty of QB's we can grab in FA for cheap. If Watson sucks or goes down, we're screwed anyways. Sign NATHAN PETERMAN for cheap.) 3. 2nd or 3rd String TE (I think Bryant is fine as TE2, but I'd like to improve it if we can. In any case, we need a #3. Give me WILL MALLORY late in the draft.) 4. Universal Backup OL (We just need one more backup that can swing all over the line. I'd love to bring in JOE TIPPMAN in the 5th-6th round.) 5. FB (I think we were at our best when we used a true FB. Gimme KEYTAON THOMPSON as an UDFA. I think he could become a full-time blocking FB/TE.) 6. RB (A bit of a luxury. There are a ton of good players we could get via the draft. One of my favorites would be TAVION THOMAS as an UDFA). With all of this said, I wouldn't be upset if we rolled into next year with the exact same guys on O if it means we used our resources properly to fix the abysmal defense. The offense will ride or die with Deshaun Watson regardless of who we bring in here. If we have a good D and Deshaun hits, we'll be an elite contender. If Deshaun sucks and we have a good D, it won't matter. If we have a good D and bring in a bunch of new weapons on O but Deshaun sucks, it won't matter. We need Deshaun to be better than the jizz towel he was for us last year. That's the biggest "need" of the team. We can't possibly overcome him not being an elite QB for us. Nice Do not see us beating anybody in the NFC west this puts us at 6 wins if we play the AFC even next year. Prediction if we lose to Arizona or Denver every body gets fired up
candyman93
@BetterCallSaul said everything I want to. I’d just remove having a fullback. However, we need a dynamic WR bad.

Kiwibrown
The best full back on the roster last year was Hunt who we did not use for whatever reason.
BetterCallSaul
3rd/4th & 1 with a real FB makes life a lot easier. You almost need a FB against the Steelers, who shoot gaps and play with 4 LBs all the time.

mtmmike
Well first of all if a starting tackle drops to us draft him This could bring back draft picks plus save huge money cap implications. Plus improve play. Wr do not see any that would improve this position that much. Qb if we can trade myles for a 1st overall so I can draft Alabama qb. This would let him sit for a year then trade Leshaun thus netting a huge stockpile of draft picks plus saving 86 million in salary cap plus everything we save by getting rid of Willis. Pretty much sums up the offense.
