notthatbluestuff
My third consecutive year starting this thread. The first time, the answer was essentially a resounding "NO" barring the grumblings of a few Raider fans. The next year, it was generally "not yet" but more admitted that they were legitimately starting to sour on the Chiefs a little bit - especially after foiling the exciting Bills. Now, as the Chiefs have advanced to their fifth consecutive AFC Championship, and with Patrick Mahomes almost assuredly about to win his 2nd MVP, I'm here to ask once again... Have the Chiefs lived long enough to see themselves become the villains?

onejayhawk
The Chiefs are not close to the record for consecutive conference championship games. They are now in second place, for what it may be worth.

checkcola
I think it takes more than success to achieve villain status
Falconof Shadows
To fans of AFC teams possibly. Fans of NFC teams probably don't care much yet
Abe56
No, the only unlikable part of their team was Mahomes brother and wife and they havent really been in the spotlight this year Patriots were the villains cause everybody was unlikable, besides Gronk and then you throw in the cheating scandals, tuck rules and the murders and it was true villain stuff

Sad People
No, easy team to root for.
BayRaider
Definitely taken over the Pats as the villains. Bills, Bengals, Jags, Eagles, 49ers are easier to root for. Giants as well but Giants only because they are fresh.

CosmicCrown
The most I disliked them was 2020 after my team lost to them in the AFC championship game. I’ve disliked plenty of teams in the AFC more than them since then, for more reasons than just losing to them, and frankly, I root for the Chiefs over all of them. candyman93
No but announcers (Collinsworth and Romo) are really trying to make them be
