vike daddy
The Cowboys remain without an appearance in the NFC Championship Game since the 1995 season, which was their last Super Bowl championship team. Only the Commanders, Lions and Dolphins have longer droughts without a conference championship game appearance. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2023/01/22/49ers-advance-to-nfc-championship-game-with-19-12-win-over-cowboys/ @Captain Relax

SemperFeist
If the playoffs have proven one thing, aggressiveness and physicality are the keys to going far.

I don’t know. I think the 49ers defense can slow down Hurts and the Eagles’ offense, but Purdy started to show some cracks against Dallas. You can’t expect the Eagles to drop 3 interceptions. The Eagles are very good, but I still believe that Shanahan is a better coach and he'll find a way. Either way, I still believe whoever comes out of the AFC will beat whoever comes out of the NFC.
SemperFeist
I think it’s going to come down to which defense can force more turnovers.

Morlee
Looks like my all year prediction of Eagles Vs Bengals in the Super Bowl is getting closer. San Francisco will be a big hurdle, but I believe in Burrow against the Chiefs. He is built different, and not just figuratively. He’s a monster among warriors. All the teams left are so different from the Vikings, it almost had me a bit saddened. We keep going back to a well that we know won’t bring us anywhere near the level of these top 7-8 football teams. Owners will spend money but are just unwilling to do what needs to be done - what me and MANY Vikings fans have been clamoring for. Clearly, many here will defend and stick up for the Vikings regardless of what’s true. So this post isn’t meant to get into deep discussion. I know everyone has their opinions. I like KOC and Kwesi, but they’re definitely building a more finesse-bend-but-don’t-break-unit, rather than an all-out aggressive and physically dominating approach that the current best teams go for. As frustrating and annoying as the Vikings and their stubbornness on certain matters get to me, they’re still my team and I’ll root for them. OT: These Championship games should be rough, in a good way. I see Burrow taking over again, as well as Philadelphia’s O-Line eventually overpowering the 49ers line and the running game letting them control the entire 4th quarter.

I don't believe it's yet real clear what they are building on the defensive side of the ball. We haven't seen enough as far as drafting ability to know what their intention is, other than to build more speed. Also, it's not as if the Chiefs are exactly a physically dominating team and they've been in the mix far more often than the Eagles have been. For all we know, this may be the only shot the Eagles have. considering the age of their defense, which isn't exactly made up of spring chickens (and neither is their offensive line whose primary players have been in the league 10 and 12 years).
