They played well enough to where even if Purdy had played the entire game, and SF did throw the ball a bit more, it wouldn’t have made much a difference. Especially with how many times SF penalized themselves with obvious calls Eagles are just a different breed in 2022 They are a very good team. That win was not impressive. The Vikings would’ve beat SF today. and the officiating was very one sided. Bad take on the refs. Edited January 30 by JDBrocks

The issue was not calling penalties on Philly.... You either call everything, or not, but the same for both teams.

A 31-7 beat down against the best defense in the league is an impressive win. I’m not sure why you’re so dismissive of Philly’s route of SF. CriminalMind
That’s how you use a top WR in the playoffs. You throw to them regardless of the coverage, regardless of the situation. 4th and 6 …. Throw it 40 yards. Good on you Joe and Zac Taylor. “Offensive Guru” KOC could learn alot from you. Edited January 30 by CriminalMind

PrplChilPill
I want to like KC, but they whine on offense over and over. Refs just gave them the game.

They clearly showed the official running in and blowing the play dead. And Eli Apple was clearly holding on the receiver’s break.

Unfortunately, not a heads up play. The emotion of moment/game got the best of him.
Morlee
Philly looks darn near unstoppable. They have all year. I suppose KC is probably the toughest challenge they’ll face, but I still can’t the see Chiefs really winning. I’ll root for a good game though.
ArcticNorseman
So, Andy Reid has now been HC in 9 conference championship games, right? He's won 3. Time will tell if he wins more SBs. Yes, he's been a steady and high-end coach for two decades. If Philly crushes KC in two weeks, does that make him just unlucky?
