With that said, latest rumor out of Dallas is that Dak no longer wants to be called Dak and would rather be called by his full middle name - Dakota. Daniel Posted January 24, 2023 Share Posted January 24, 2023 New Titans GM Ran Carthon believes the Titans are in full rebuild mode, and is attempting to find potential trade partners to move down in the first round from Number 11. Rumors are that the Titans are also actively shopping Edge rusher Bud Dupree. Zach Cunningham and Robert Woods are likely cap casualties, but the team is shopping them to attempt to receive late round or depth player compensation from teams who don't want to risk being outbid on the open market. It was the main driver behind the firing of Lovie Smith, and will likely be the main driver behind the one year firing of their next head coach. This has prompted the Texans to not consider a QB this year because Bo Callahan has no friends. Chicago Bears - The Chicago Bears, with the first overall pick, have mentioned the need for a QB since their current QB is a better runner than he is pocket passer. Matt Eberflus said he wants to take a play out of East Dillon's playbook running 2 QB's that could be RB's. Says they have interest in Lamar Jackson this off season and if the Ravens don't keep him, Chicago will likely go all in on Jackson to have that dual QB threat. Washington Commanders - The Washington Commanders have been in discussions with potential buyers for the team. A source said that Elon Musk has toyed with the idea of buying the team just so Jeff Bezos can't have it. Seattle Seahawks - Word out of Seattle is that they are in love with Anthony Richardson, but because he played for Florida, Pete Carroll needs to be convinced that Florida was a Pac-10 school. Ghostnote Posted January 25, 2023 Author Share Posted January 25, 2023 San Francisco 49ers - With the emergence of Mr. Irrelevant Brock Purdy, the 49ers have requested the 3rd overall pick back from drafting Trey Lance and that Trey Lance be added to the 2023 class of QB's. Ghostnote Posted January 25, 2023 Author Share Posted January 25, 2023 A source from Buffalo has stated the obvious, that the Bills are going to go after protection for Josh Allen this off season. The loss to Cincinnati at home in the snow in the playoffs has lit a fire in Buffalo to protect Josh Allen. Head Coach Sean McDermott and OC Ken Dorsey have met with local farmers to see potential hogmollies for their offensive line. They came back with a couple good sows that showed promise but would have to acquire them at the livestock auction held later this month. One source mentioned that McDermott contacted the Vice President for Officiating, Mike Periera, and requested the Tom Brady no touch clause.
