notthatbluestuff
Which roster is/was better and why?
Jeezla
2022 is the more talented roster, but the 2017 version had more games where the team dominated for 4 quarters, and everybody was on the same page. Danger
They're pretty comparable, the main differences are in 2022 the Corners and the WRs are better.

How would you compare 2017 Wentz to Hurts?

I was more so going with the playoffs since that's where we are right now. Regular season those two were roughly even. Postseason Hurts > Foles but Foles made a wish on the Dragonballs or something to win the Super Bowl and played out of his mind.
Nabbs4u
Overall Rosters, it's 2022 without question top to bottom. 2017 come playoffs was missing its Starting QB, LT, LB and 3rd down RB. Time will tell with this 2022 team? The 2017 team also bought into the whole underdog us against the world montra! Foles played ridiculously well in the NFCCG/SB. No idea what this Team/Hurts will do. SF is without question a better opponent then the Vikings were!!!!! Both teams had Top 5 Offenses and Defenses. One finished it, the other as of yet.......⏳️⌛️🤷♂️

Or are there too many differences between 2017 and 2022 for them to feel like the same regime/dynasty? No, but if they had kept winning it could’ve been the start of one. Instead the bottom totally fell out on that franchise and 2007 and 2011 were seen as weird outliers. Eagles on the other hand are well set up to continue contending for future championships

I think both QBs had overrated seasons but it feels like Hurts has longer to throw and has much bigger windows to throw into whereas I saw Wentz make some magical plays that season that were based on his skillset alone and his WRs made some ridiculous contested throws where he put it where only they could get it. That said, I think if you flip either QB to the other team they're not as good as they are/were that season.

The word Dynasty gets thrown out almost as much as the word Elite. You can be very good, great even without being either. At no point were the Steelers or the NY Giants a Dynasty because they won 2 SB in a 4-5 year span. That's basically what the Eagles are to me if they Won.
