Plus hopefully he can get input on the right QB to draft. No more half measures with FA and trades.
MWil23
I'm a bigger Reich fan than most. I think he's largely been a victim of GM and Meddling owner incompetence. I'm rooting for him and hope they give him a viable starting QB.

sdrawkcab321
Guess we’ll finally see if reichs entire success was because of sirianni or if he can stand on his own
Forge
I don't mind Reich as a hire. He's a fine retread. I don't think he's a great head coach, I watched too many games from Indy where I was just truly confused by what he was doing....but I do feel like this is similar to the hiring of Dougie P where sometimes you just need that guy who is competent, understands what is going on, and is just very solid all the way around. It's okay to hit a double when you're looking for your head coach.

I think sometimes, and I'm guilty of this as a HS Coach even...I know my personnel so well on what they can/cannot do in relation to game time and situations that I made some really Madd Hatter type decisions that occasionally had Wile E Coyote ACME consequences...while many often panned out without anyone ever knowing or else were like "YES! I love the riverboat gambler mentality!" I think at the end of the day he was like "I've got a mentally broken Wentz and a noodle armed Matt Ryan with injuries galore...let's do (insert wacky thing here) because otherwise we're dead."

Forge
It saddens me how 1990s footage looks now. 1990's footage now looks like how I thought 1970's footage looked in the 90's.... I'm old... oh...but wait...back on topic... this is is kind of cool Also...Pete Metzelaars...what a throwback
Trentwannabe
I can't put my finger on it but I really like this hire. He may not be a grand slam hire but as far as retreads go, I like it.
ET80
Hmm. Guess players are returning to the teams they played for… Jeff Saturday for the Colts, Frank Reich for the Panthers… …wonder what other openings have a former player as a candidate.

As far as retreads go though, I feel like you definitely could do worse. But specifically for the Panthers, this isn't clicking for me for whatever reason.
