Championshiporbust
If Trent Green didn't get injured and Kurt Warner stayed obscure would the '99 Rams have won with him?
Malfatron
I would say likely not

NeptunePenguins
Warner was a special QB in my imo. He just had something to him that made him a dangerous QB. I don't know much about Trent Green tbh so I won't comment on that, but I don't think they win it most likely.
A_Biased_Fan
Sure, why not. He played very well in 2000 on 240 passing attempts when Warner had injuries. Trent became a very good QB in KC and he would have cooked with that Rams offense (and he did anyway in a somewhat limited sample). The 1999 team had a much better defense than the 2000 team so I don't see any reason he couldn't have led that team to the promised land. BayRaider
We have no idea. I will say no way Pats win in 2001 if Bledsoe plays though. Mistake machine. Edited February 9, 2023 by BayRaider
TecmoSuperJoe
Maybe. I don't know if he wins MVP, but he would have had a good year most likely with that cast of all-stars taking the league by storm. Trent Green was a fringe top 5 QB to me from 2002-2005 when he had another stacked squad around him.
ramssuperbowl99
No. Trent Green was a very good QB, but didn't have the deep ball that made the entire GSOT work. And that deep ball was what ended up winning them the game:
DontTazeMeBro
Idk. My gut reaction was yes. But then I remembered Tennessee was a yard away from OT with Warner. **** that’s a tough one.

Chiefs_5627
I don't think so, there was a number of throws Warner would make that Trent wouldn't even consider. Trent didn't even really come into his own until his 2nd year in KC iirc. And he had probably the GOAT Oline in KC history, One of the Goat TEs and a RB in Priest that set all kinds of records..........and we still couldn't win a single playoff game Edited February 10, 2023 by Chiefs_5627 Words n stuff
