Ayton has always matched up well with Jokic.  I’m nervous about the Pels who match up well with the Suns.  Maybe they can get a bruiser for Saric’s expiring and a future pick swap to bang with Zion.

Not an issue.  Ishbia gives zero’s F’s about the tax.

Saric and 26’ swap for Clarkston? @NYRaider

lol not what I meant. I meant Ayton had one decent series against Jokic and has not had any success against him since. He was wrecked the last time they played.

Hot take, I don't think this even makes the Suns the favorites in the West. CP3 is declining pretty rapidly in terms of being a scorer, Ayton has almost 0 interest in being there. Booker and KD is really nice but they just traded two pretty key players for him. My sizzling hot take is the Suns don't even make the WCF.

That is definitely a hot take. Don't get me wrong, I don't the Suns are anywhere close to a KD Warriors level of favorite and I would for sure bet on the field before I would bet on the Suns and not even think twice about it. But at the very least, if healthy (that's the rub as always), they should be better than any non-Denver Western team. CP3 is declining rapidly but he's looked better recently and he's not gonna need to score when he's passing to Book and KD, even Ayton on the inside.

I think the Celtics, Bucks, and Nuggets all have more than a fair chance at beating them, especially this year with so little time to build chemistry, but they'll still become favorites for the next couple of years imo.

KD historically massacres us, but we've been better vs him since we got Herb, Herb gives him some semblance of trouble, as much as you can a guy like KD. That would mean we can't play Herb on Book though and Book is already capable of cooking us. Pels are a couple pieces away imo, even as a Pels fan.

I'd bet Durant and Booker don't fit that well, and Booker dips a bit because of it.
