It's not out of the realm of possibility to believe that they won't take BPA in this draft then QB next draft. Thought the trade was for two 1sts - 2022 & 2023? Given the contract they just gave Geno (1yr), they should or better take a real FQB while they are in position. Absolutely nothing is guaranteed in 2024!!! Just saw posts above, be GD shocked if QB isn't thier pick at #5!!! Edited March 8, 2023 by Nabbs4u

He seems like the guy Pete would want over Levis.

As he should, especially with a redshirt year and Geno starting 2023. Edited March 8, 2023 by Nabbs4u
NYRaider
So his deal breaks down as: 2023: $10M cap hit / $27M dead cap 2024: $31.2M cap hit / $17.4M dead cap 2025: $33.7M cap hit / $8.7M dead cap They can cut him in February next year though and basically get out of the deal after a year. It's structured similarly to Carr's deal with the Raiders last off season.
