Doubt it - not with two ageing corners and the fact Witherspoon can play nickel.

Well that and the fact that we haven't taken a first round corner in like 20 years lol. I hope you're right but I seriously doubt we go corner that early. Maddox is a top 5 slot CB too.

 2 44. BJ Ojulari | EDGE | LSU

 4 113. Tyler Steen | OT | Alabama
 5 160. Bryce Ford-Wheaton | WR | West Virginia
 7 225. Deneric Prince | RB | Tulsa

The Falcons also have pick 226 that is listed as KC because Felton didn't play enough snaps for the pick to convey. Outside of that. Everything looks good.

What a difference a week of FA makes.

When you look at the Chiefs you need to make two large decisions, what are the roles of Lucas Niang and Tershawn Wharton? If they start and are reliable, then the draft goes one direction. If there are serious reservations, the draft will flex in the direction of the question.

For now I am taking the team's statements that Taylor starts at LT at face value. I see him as a more experienced Anton Harrison, almost photo negative of Orland Brown. Adding Omenihu and Tranquill has significant impact on the front 7. CO can play either DE or DT. Tranquill becomes the dimebacker and can even take safety roles. The possibility of using Chenal as a standup DE exists.

  • Bergeron makes excellent sense if the team is shakey on Niang's health. He can play the swing OT role. If they are more comfortable with Niang, then Bresee or Musgrave.
  • Edge in the 2nd is an obvious possibility. That said, I could not pass up Siaki Ika. The DL staff have experience with odd defensive fronts and a 3-4 look suits the LB group. What is missing is a NT.
  • Perry is someone I have mocked myself. Still, on this board I would take the odd duck DL, Karl Brooks. Spags likes tweeners more than most DC even if Brooks does not fit his preferred body type.
  • Day #3 is BPA. At some point cover WR, TE, and RB. If someone like Ojomo is available after #150, sure. I was thinking a S/LB hybrid but Tranquill does that for them now.

Not a fan of this Steelers dtaft at all, but its certainly possible.

Im really hoping we dont take Porter.   Somewhat overrated and I feel like we would be taking him for the wrong reasons.

I could live with OT, but dont love it.

Not a fan of pass rusher that early, but again, it could happen.

Also, the chances of us not taking an ILB in the first 3 rounds is pretty slim.

Always impressive to see someone do a full 7 rounder.

But why on earth do you have Miami taking a WR anywhere in this draft, nevertheless with their 2nd rounder?  They already have 6 or 7 WRs on the roster and most of them are under control for multiple years, including their top 3 guys.

The positions the Fins seem likely to key on are TE/DT/OG/C/RT.  They could use TE and LG/RT help for this year, and will need depth at all of the positions due to FAs likely to leave next offseason.  In your draft, Tucker Kraft makes sense with their 2nd rounder.  He fits the mold of the type of TE that works in McDaniel's system.

I could see Mayer as the pick at 28, but i'm also not sure they value TE enough to use a rd 1 pick on it in this offense.  That coupled with depth at TE in the draft makes me think it will be a day 2 pick.

I don't think there is any way they go S before rd 5 or so.  Nick Scott is on a 3 year deal, Dax Hill has 3-4 years left on his rookie deal, they really like Tycen Anderson who they took last year and they have a special teams captain in their 4th safety with Michael Thomas who they trust to play some defense when called upon as well.

Stephenson has good size and speed for CB, but those agility scores have me a little worried.  I don't know a whole lot about his game, but CB is definitely a position they like to attack on the first two days so I can see it.

Even if they keep Mixon, I definitely see them taking a RB at some point in this draft.  They still have Treyveon Williams and Chris Evans, but seemingly don't have much faith in either.  Is Evans real good at pass pro and catching?  At 202 lbs he'd need to be, and that's specifically what they are looking for.

Not sure if Xavier Hutchison really fits their profile at WR, he seems to be ok at a lot and they usually like to get guys that have at least one standout tool to use.  Not too familiar with him, but given his athletic profile, he'd need to be an ace route runner with great hands to be a fit as a slot, if that's the case, then maybe.

In no way do I see them taking Stetson Bennett.  He's a smaller version of Brandon Allen who we already have and already knows the system.

I could be wrong, but I think in regards to offensive line, I think the Bengals will go day 1/2 or not at all.  They've been bringing in depth this offseason and they want some ready to go backups moreso than a developmental guy.  I suppose rd 7 could be a possibility (especially late rd 7) because that is likely a guy you can stash on the practice squad, so I may have just talked myself into this pick while typing it out, lol.

So all the guys I have under your pick are just guys that have caught my eye as a potential fit, I like some better than others.  It's mostly plausible and I mostly like it, even if I'm not thrilled with it.  The only ones I out and out disagree with are a safety in rd 2, and drafting Stetson Bennent.  Everything else seems within the realm of possibility.

Given the board at each pick, here are two different scenarios I think could go down depending on what they do at the top.  I'll exclude TE since you have that scenario covered:

1. Dawand Jones, OT, Ohio State
2. Darius Rush, CB, South Carolina
3. Zach Kuntz, TE, Old Dominion
4. Israel Abanakanda, RB, Pitt
5. Ronnie Bell, WR, Michigan
6. Tyrus Wheat, Edge, Mississippi State
7. Cameron Young, DT, Mississippi State

OR

1. Bryan Breese, DT, Clemson OR Kalijah Cancey, DT, Pitt (Then they don't trade Jonah Williams more than likely)
2. Tyjae Spears, RB, Tulane
3. Garrett Williams, CB, Syracuse
4. Brenton Strange, TE, Penn State (if they end up signing Foster Moreau)
5. Ronnie Bell, WR, Michigan
6. Brenton Cox, Edge, Florida
7. Mohamed Ibrahim, RB, Minnesota

Time for a trade up. Chiefs send #31 and #63 to Baltimore for #22 and #124

#22 Quentin Johnston | WR | TCU
#95 Karl Brooks | DL | Bowling Green

On day #3 fill in depth at TE, RB, WR,
