WizardHawk
Dallas will let the market set and then decide they want to re-sign LVE and DW.

So either we waited to the last minute as per ush (lol) or perhaps more likely, Fisher is just wrong.

This sucks if MG doesn’t revert back to the 2019/20 version. I’m pretty confident he’ll be fine, but I’m not putting any money on it either. You can still decide not to spend the money elsewhere and it just rolls over, making it the exact same as if you didn’t restructure.

They do a well-enough job drafting for the most part to keep the franchise semi-relevant...but they'll never win a championship again with their current approach. And it doesn't matter who they have at QB.

This is generally where I land with them but I think there are exceptions and it should be taken case by case. With Gallup here they bumped his dead cap figures to $13M in ‘24 and $9.25M in ‘25 up from $6M/$4M. That’s a pretty sizable jump and basically locks him in for the next two years. Also can be taken as a sign that they still see him as WR2 going forward which is the larger issue.
