Panthers trade up to 1st overall for 4 picks and WR DJ Moore

A thought from one of the geek blogs on what the Panthers will do at #1:

If the Panthers are going to take Richardson they should trade down to #4 first (to regain some draft capital) and then turn their attention to their defense.  The Ravens model.

Still third in cap space ($27,131,155 on 2023-04-17), Panthers GM Scott Fitterer has spent much more on offense (e.g. $25M on WR Adam Thielen and Miles Sanders, $21.75M on TE Hayden Hurst, $10M on QB Andy Dalton, $5M on WR D.J. Chark, etc.) than on defense ($22.5M on SS Vonn Bell, $19.5M on DT Shy Tuttle).  This suggests that Carolina is going to stay and draft a passer rather than trade down for Anthony Richardson.

      That leaves Baltimore...
