Looks like Wainwright made his final rehab start yetserday for Springfiled. he should be bakc soo and antiicpate Woodford being the odd man out.

I think you're right about Woodford. He'll be sent down. I could honestly see Libby come up over him and get the next chance. I think he's probably passed Woodford on the pecking order, at least in the short term.

Solid start for Jack despite that 2nd inning. Another series lost. Team has been a complete disappointment so far. How many wins would this team have without Gorman?

Hopefully Gorman has figured something out and this isn't just a small hot streak. I'm liking Contreras so far too. He seems like a doubles machine. Nice to have a little pop back behind the plate after Yadi.

I think it's clicked. He changed his swing and timing mechanism this offseason in order to catch-up to the high FB (which he could not get to at all last year) and it showed in ST and has continued. He's no longer just a platoon hitter against RHP either. This is the type of hitter we projected him to be when he was coming up through the system.

We are tied for dead-last in the MLB in quality starts among from SP's with 3. Pittsburgh, Cubs, Brewers are all in the top 10 in MLB.

IMO, these things got to change for us to turn it around:

1. Gotta get more QS's

2. Gotta start hitting with RSIP

3. Gotta get the bridge guys in the BP established and right.

Walker sent down, Motter cleared waivers and is back with the big club.

like what are we doing? Motter is a turd.

Matter should jot be on a Major League roster, hence him completely clearing waivers. Which is also what makes this move so odd.

I was going to come here and say, if we don’t see something change by the end of this West Coast road trip (a winning streak of some sort) and we’re like 10 games out/10 under .500 then we better be coming back home with a new Manager

But this Walker/Motter stuff just shows that just isn’t going to happen

People rag on Mo for all the wrong reasons. He has collected some impressive talent, including via the farm system. But he has yet to hire a single good manager. And clearly thinks he should also be in charge of the day to day. This all still goes back to not picking Terry Franconia. Just look what a real manager has done for the Rangers this year
