Matchups are a thing. They exist.

So the solution is: 

1. Get better on defense so you can match up with ATL who will likely be in the playoff conversation for several years to come; or

2. Cross your fingers you never have to play ATL because due to the "matchup" we lose. 

I fully understand match-ups exist. This is precisely why I don't want to play NO or ATL on the road in the playoffs and would much rather face a team like Seattle or Minnesota. But the goal is to improve a defense so it can match-up against all teams, not just settle for the fact that you can't beat some good teams because they are a match-up problem. That improvement isn't going to happen under Capers, period.
