Houston had to take a QB

Agreed, but for what they gave up Anderson needs to be Von MIller.

Paris Johnson going #6 was a small surprise. I was guessing 8-12. That gave the Raiders the first real steal in Tyree Wilson. Atlanta makes the first blunder. Bijan Robinson will be OROY but it's a very short-sighted pick. That lets the Eagles trade up for the next steal--Jalen Carter.

So far no one really shocking. Even Bijan Robinson was set to go in the top 20 or so and Gibbs in the first round. As someone at this site suggested, OL are flying off the shelf. That's good for us. Lukas Van Ness goes at #13, but we never had much chance to get him.

It raises the question, who is left of the elite DL? Murphy. Kancey, Nolan Smith, maybe Bresee.

Going to give my top 5 for each position. This is with limited scouting, so I'm not as confident about this as in past years. Alphabetical order without concern to rounds. This is considering their fit in KC and not anywhere else.

QB: Don't care

RB: Zach Charbonnet, Jahmyr Gibbs, Kendre Miller, Bijan Robinson, Deuce Vaughn

TE: Cameron Latu -- didn't really scout here tbh

WR: Jordan Addison, Andrei Iosivas, Charlie Jones, Jonathan Mingo, Rashee Rice -- this class is underwhelming

OL: Jaelyn Duncan, Anton Harrison, John Michael Schmitz, O'Cyrus Torrence, Darnell Wright

DL: Will Anderson Jr, Calijah Kancey, Myles Murphy, Lukas Van Ness, Tyree Wilson

LB: Drew Sanders -- didn't really scout here tbh

DB: Sydney Brown, Emmanuel Forbes, Christian Gonzalez, Christopher Smith, Devon Witherspoon

My top 5 realistic picks for our 1st round (between picks 15-31): Jordan Addison, Emmanuel Forbes, Anton Harrison, Calijah Kancey and Myles Murphey. I think we most likely trade up for DL or let Forbes fall to 31 and take him there.

Updated with who's been selected. I'm hoping we trade up for Kancey or Murphy at this point.

Updated with who's been selected again... Hoping for Murphy or maybe Nolan Smith. I'm really not liking the overall board tbh. I could see Mingo being a surprise selection.
