Valhalla Mock Draft MMXXIII: Seahawks on the Clock (#5)

It was a close vote, but the third QB came off the board in Anthony Richardson to the Colts.    Next up, the Seattle Seahawks, who acquired this pick from the Broncos in the Russell Wilson deal.

1.  Panthers - QB CJ Stroud (Ohio St) (11 votes, 2 for Young and Richardson)

2. Texans - QB Bryce Young (Alabama) (13 votes, 4 for Richardson)

3. Cardinals - Edge Will Anderson, Jr (Alabama) (9 votes, 4 for Carter, 1 for Gonzalez)

4. Colts - QB Anthony Richardson (Florida) (12 votes, 10 for Levis)

There are two blue chip players in this draft, Carter and Anderson. I cannot see Carroll passing on one if they are still on the board. 

Jalen Carter.

Jalen Carter is the better play here and if I was making the pick it would be him. 
 

but with the off the field issues and his pro day, he will probably slide a little. 
 

Tyree Jackson feels like the pick here.

Carter’s legal issues have been resolved, and the tape is going to trump his lack of workouts. I still don’t see him sliding. He’s an elite prospect in a draft with very few.

He might, I repeat, might slide a little, but I would guess to pick 10 at the latest. But that'd be a slide if that were to happen.

I honestly can imagine the Bears letting him get past 9.

I went with Carter. No brainer for SEA.
