You had to be there....

What is one moment, player, time period, ect of basketball you would love to go back and relive? Maybe its a player that you never got a chance to watch or want to re-watch play through their peaks or maybe its a time period of the game. It could even be a specific playoff series.

With all of the daytime sports talk shows devolving into eras and whose better player A or player B--there are so many times I wish people could go back and rewatch.

For me, I really with I could go back and be old enough to watch prime Shaq. I was alive, but too young during his dominance to understand how good he was. All I can go by is old Youtube videos. I remember going to a Cavs vs. Lakers game back when I was probably 9-10 years old and my dad telling me 'I wanted you to see Shaquille O'Neil play in person before he retires'. It wasnt Kobe, it was we are going to go see Shaq play.

I would have loved to watch those Kobe/Shaq Lakers teams when I was 25-30 years old and not 10 just to fully grasp how good Shaq was.

What moment/time/player would that be for you?

I have watched it, and heard all about it but to be there in that moment with the state of basketball at the time, it was bigger than any replay of the game could be.  Also, being at a championship game in a small stadium would have been nuts.  And being MSU's first basketball championship.  I just wish I could have experienced that in person.
