FGK
Wait, how are we playing this team? San Diego doesn't have a football team anymore... Oh, wait, you're telling me they moved? To LA? Why? It's like an hour away, and SD is still a like top 20 TV market. And LA already had a team. Aren't they going to have trouble filling the stadi...... Oh. Ouch. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2017/10/02/chargers-growing-frustrated-with-their-home-field-disadvantage/ http://www.ocregister.com/2017/10/01/stubhub-center-crowds-havent-been-friendly-to-winless-chargers/ http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2017/10/01/jason-peters-chargers-are-basically-playing-16-road-games/ http://thebiglead.com/2017/09/21/don-banks-nfl-is-talking-about-forcing-chargers-back-to-san-diego/ Quote This week, Banks wrote a piece about how quickly things have gone south for Dean Spanos and his team in LA and during the interview he went ever further. Banks even suggested the NFL is quietly talking about moving the team back to San Diego. Quote According to Jack Wang of the Orange County Register, a voice from inside the Chargers locker room yelled “Sixteen away-game season! Every game’s an away game!” after yesterday’s game. Man that's rough. Oh wow, and I see they started 0-4 including losses to Denver and Miami! Woah! So this is pretty much gonna be a "race to the #1 pick" game. Right? RIGHT?!?!?!? http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2745792-la-chargers-emerging-as-hottest-team-in-muddled-afc-playoff-race Quote The Los Angeles Chargers made it official Thanksgiving Thursday in Dallas. Regardless of their still-sub-.500 record, their dominant performance in a 28-6 victory over the Cowboys confirms that the Chargers are a playoff-caliber team and a legitimate contender in the wide-open AFC. https://www.sbnation.com/nfl/2017/11/22/16679960/nfl-playoff-picture-chargers-afc-west-chiefs-raiders-broncos Quote Beyond the eye test, advanced stats think this team is more dangerous than it’s actually been. Pro Football Reference’s expected win-loss record, a formula based on points scored and allowed in a given season, pegs LA as a six-win team — good enough to land in the thick of the AFC playoff race. What the heck? Well, I guess if it's all gonna work for them, it can for us too right?!?! https://nflspinzone.com/2017/09/25/cleveland-browns-enough-excuses-offense-stinks/ Quote Hue Jackson has completely failed as offensive coordinator costing the Cleveland Browns more than just on the field. http://www.nj.com/giants/index.ssf/2017/10/giants_browns_49ers_2018_nfl_draft_no_1_pick_analy.html Quote As usual. The Browns are used to being a laughingstock. It's kind of their thing ever since they returned to the NFL. Well. So much for that. Despite an improved roster, the Browns are on pace for the #1 pick again this year. Who do you got and by how much? 0-infinity Browns vs. how the heck are they 5-6 Chargers. Thomas5737
Browns are 10-25 when Josh Gordon plays. 10-46 when he doesn't. So... we're less likely to lose this week
Bucketheadsdad
I hope that the NFL puts Dean Spanos into a choke hold, and drags him (and this great organization....[saw my first NFL game in San Diego in 1970]) and was an instant John Hadl fan....(I was 7 and impressionable) back to San Diego. It is a travesty that Spanos stripped that city of their ball club. I have a 3X4 foot poster autographed poster of the 1970 Chargers that my uncle got from one of his buddies that owned a bar in SD that was frequented by Charger players. One of my prized possessions. I lose some amount of respect for any team that relocates and leaves a fan base behind. I was like that before 1995. When the team (and even players) make comments about how excited they are for the new city I just see daggers being thrown into the backs of their current/former fan base. Some situations are more understandable than others but even then I think you have to give some sort of effort to increase interest before just relocating. I do understand it is a business and money controls these moves but I'd rather all teams take the GB packer route as opposed to no team being allowed to take that route. bruceb
Just saw that we are 14 point dogs in this game. Ouch! http://brownswire.usatoday.com/2017/11/29/browns-open-as-14-point-underdogs-against-chargers/
Dogbite
Last week shattered my optimism. I no longer see this as a winnable game and I think we will win 1 game at best. I really believe we had more than decent chance to beat Cincinnati. After watching the first half I was deflated. We were completely and thoroughly out coached. It had absolutely nothing to do with a team having far superior talent or anything else. We were out coach ever step of the way. I do not believe this staff has what it takes to produce winning football. We might even out play the Chargers but I will fulling expect the coaching to do something to cost us the game. I can also see an easy blow out for the Chargers as the Browns have had a terrible pattern of completely bombing the season down the stretch and making other QBs look great. Rivers is already very good so he could very well have a legendary type game again the Browns.

Kiwibrown
they have a great passing game. They have a good passing defense. How do we win. Play well against he run and better all year than we have on defense against the pass. On offence we have to run the ball to victory. We have to get a lead early and maintain and control the clock. Our passing game will have to compliment the run not the other way around. They are built to defend the pass. They have two great edge rushers. Browns win 20-14. go Browns. Reginaldm9
Chargers blow us out. They're gonna make the playoffs. Kizer runs in one TD from the 2, throws 55% passing and keeps some of you rubes thinking he's got what it takes to command an offense under the worst HC/OC in the game.
