Why not, let's give this a go with combine and the major free agency moves in the book.

Rules:

There are two polls - your first choice will count as 2pts, your second as 1pt. If players have the same score after 24 hours, the pick will go to the player with the most first place votes.

I will take poll options from the website below, which aggregates all media big boards - so if your guy isn't on the board, don't blame me.

https://www.nflmockdraftdatabase.com/big-boards/2023/consensus-big-board-2023?pos=ALL

Your vote can be who you would take, or who you think the team will take - it doesn't matter.

1. Carolina Panthers - C.J. Stroud | QB | Ohio State

2. Houston Texans - Bryce Young | QB | Alabama

3. Arizona Cardinals - Will Anderson | EDGE | Alabama

4. Indianapolis Colts - Anthony Richardson | QB | Florida

5. Seattle Seahawks - Jalen Carter | DL | Georgia

6. Detroit Lions - Christian Gonzalez | CB | Oregon

7.  Las Vegas Raiders - Devon Witherspoon | CB | Illinois

8.  Atlanta Falcons - Tyree Wilson | EDGE | Texas Tech

9.  Chicago Bears - Paris Johnson Jr. | OT | Ohio State

10. Philadelphia Eagles - Myles Murphy | Edge | Clemson

11. Tennessee Titans - Broderick Jones | OT | Georgia

12. Houston Texans - Jaxon Smith-Njigba | WR | Ohio State

13. New York Jets - Peter Skoronski | OT | Northwestern

14. New England Patriots - Darnell Wright | OT | Tennessee

15. Green Bay Packers - Lukas Van Ness | EDGE | Iowa

16. Washington Commanders - Joey Porter Jr | CB | Penn State

17.  Pittsburgh Steelers - Nolan Smith | EDGE | Georgia

That would suck if it fell this way for the Vikings.  Especially since I would rather have Schmitz than Bradbury at center.  Also would be shocked if Seattle does not take Schmitz, OG could be an issue as well but center is more of an issue for them I feel.  Also would suck if Darnell Washington is there because they already spent so much on Oliver for a blocking TE, Washington would be far cheaper and a better pass catcher potentially.

I would have to say Banks with the upside he has potentially.  That or Drew Sanders who could be a versatile ILB for them.

Looking at who they have under contract past 2023; WR, OG, and DT all make the most sense. I could see LB too.

I went Bresee/Flowers.

DE Lowry/ Lynch/ Otomewo
NT Tonga / Day
DE Phillips/ Davenport

I have Davenport as potentially a bull rush 3/4 DE but maybe they put him as a edge OLB if Z. Smith is gone.

Putting Bresee into that, not sure that fits unless they are switching back to more of a 4/3 but that would be odd with adding Lowry...  Maybe they go Bresee/Phillips/Lowry and have Tonga the backup NT.  Just not sure Bresee is a great fit in a 3/4 but would be interesting.

I was thinking a base 4-3. So maybe LB moves up the list. Either way, DE and CB don’t make a ton of sense to me unless they have zero confidence in the current depth chart.

Our current CB depth chart:

Byron Murphy - Probably our #1 CB
Akayleb Evans - solid rookie season but suffered 2 (3?) concussions
Andrew Booth Jr. - played limited snaps and was placed on IR.
Kalon Barnes/Tay Gowan - Who?

2 of our top 3 CBs have major question marks regarding injuries. Heck, you could even throw Murphy into that discussion. I think Vikings fans are fatigued with the round 1 CBs, and rightfully so, but it makes a lot of sense this year.

There is no probably about it, Murphy is so far and away the #1 CB on that roster it is not even a conversation.

Not sure Booth or Evans could be a legit starter yet, and still slot CB is still a massive issue.  Sadly Murphy right now is the best boundary and the best slot CB on the team, looking at that lineup though they almost have to draft a CB one would think.
