I prefer Witherspoon over Gonzalez, but I understand it.

Love trading with the Cowboys so they take a 1st round RB. Mazi Smith is a good player too.

Trading for Budda Baker is unnecessary since we have a 3 safety rotation already of Walker/Joseph/Gardner-Johnson.

I like Jack Campbell.

Hooker at his age makes absolutely zero sense for the Lions. Unless you think he's better than Goff who is only a few years older and was a #1 pick for a reason, I don't see it at all. Hooker has some talent but nothing elite as far as arm, athleticism. I don't see any great upside to the pick and wouldn't take him anywhere before perhaps the third if they like him a lot and want a hedge more than a penciled-in successor. Pick 48 will have too many starters available IMO. I could see that being where Detroit might grab a TE or even a second CB if someone like Emmanuel Forbes or DJ Turner is there. They might grab a guy like Keanu Benton/Gervon Dexter there or an LB like Jack Campbell/Trenton Simpson over Hooker. I'd hate it for Detroit if they grabbed Hooker at 48 and then someone else grabbed Campbell before pick 55. I do like Noah Sewell in the third, but still.

I'm not saying there is no chance the Bengals take Gibbs at 28, but I have a hard time seeing them take a RB over Michael Mayer, Emmanuel Forbes, or Brian Breese.  I can see LaPorta at 60, that'd be a solid B grade of a pick there.

I don't see Wright taken anywhere here. I'm going to assume he was just forgotten, but if he wasn't GB would absolutely snap him up with one of their two 2nds, especially over Meyer

I assume that is who pick 12 is, OT from Tenn, but he put Martin

Both these picks are excellent. A little outside of hte box with Hyatt actually making it to 44, but would be a great fit for the Falcons.

Not good for the Bears IMO.  If they came away with this I'd be pretty underwhelmed.  Skoronski is going to be an NFL guard, he's not going to be a fit for the Bears at RT which is their main hole on the OL right now.  Ade is getting overrated in this draft based on his combine, but he is fairly intriguing overall, but still, I'd prefer not to take him in the second, especially if Keion White is still available.

van Ness at 10, Zay Flowers at 30 and trading for Baker would certainly be an interesting draft.
Wouldn't be that big on it but you are going for more of a boom with higher bust risk.

van Ness right now isn't worth that pick, but I get it if you like the potential and think he can take a year to grow behind the vets.
He certainly has room to grow. Not what I'd do or think they'd do (player profile wise), but can at least get the logic. Thing is that logic probably takes them more the OL route at 10 or 30. Get a guy who can at least rotate in at G/RT, gets the RG spot next year and if he can move to RT in 3 years when Lane supposedly retiring. Gives you a season to evaluate him at RT before picking up the 5th year.

Zay is definitely the type of guy that fits in at what they need at that 3rd/slot role. And gives you an upgrade over Quez Watkins in all his roles.
I think the only issue is Devonta and AJ Brown will still only be 25 and 26 by the time this season ends, and they are both are realistically going to be here 3 more seasons at the very least. You top that with Goedert and the dedication to the run...that really stretches into the luxury type of pick. If they are going pass catcher, TE probably makes more sense. Depth can easily be upgraded, Goedert is already 28 and gets hurt a couple games a year. Day 2 they make they make this pick, fine.

Not getting trade value for either pick, despite not having any rounds 4-6, is something I can see if you have guys that fell to you. But not these two.
Which does make trading for Budda a little harder to see. If they can drop at 10 and get an extra 2nd or something it greases those wheel a lot more.
Now that Hurts' contract is in and we know the shockingly low actual cap hits per year, a Baker trade doesn't seem so crazy.

But as a super bowl contender in the NFC, you cant be thrilled with a raw edge two years away, a guy who will barely get targets per game and sending your last most valuable pick for a safety you'll have to pay. I totally get your logic here, but a lot of it is directly opposed to what they tend to do and value.
