Neither will either of the Alabama kids. So here we go lol… Antonio Johnson? Idk man, he’s long and has some versatility, is supposedly very good in zone coverage and is where he’s supposed to be when he’s supposed to be there and can process quickly apparently (I’m not watching film here fellas). That’s a large part of being a good safety imo. That’s all I got tbh. I’d rather see if a corner can transition to S rather than draft much from this group tbh. He is not a fit to play S at all in our system, especially with Schwartz being a heavy man guy. He could be a fit to play nickel LB? My S is Jartavius Martin. He would literally be the perfect fit for us. If he slides, he's my #1 candidate for us at pick #74. And he's about the only S I would consider in the range we're picking. He's basically Damarious Randall + I think he would be perfect to play that roll-down box safety when we go into cover 1/3 shells. I think Delpit does that for us this year, but when he inevitably leaves via FA, Martin slides into that role. Martin is also a cornerback convert, so he can act as our DIME corner. He's just a supremely versatile piece that is flying under the radar, despite freaky athletic testing numbers.
