Technicality but I do believe Carpenter moved to LB by the Packers the last week or two. He may actually have a chance there.

None of it matters, but a really good draft on paper and just about everyone seems to feel that way.

Definitely a lot to like or at least a lot to get excited about for the future.

Only positions I thought maybe we should have done a little more with was offensive tackle given Bakhtiari's injury issues and being a bit skeptical about Jones, Walker, Delance and Tenuta in that lineup should something happen to Nijman.

Safety as well since Adrian Amos is gone, might have wanted a bit higher pick there.

But overall, I think a real solid draft.

Even the biggest Gute haters like it!

Gonna be interesting predicting the cuts or makes prior to the 53-Man due date

I'll take a few stabs though at who I'm betting on

1. Deguara OUT

2. Kraft IN

3. R. Newman OUT

4. T. Davis OUT

5. Wicks IN

6. T. Moore (surprises) IN

What I will be curious about is whether we stick to our usual 2 QB roster or if Gute feels he needs to go with 3 like we did in 2008 the first year Rodgers took over.

Deguara is making the team.

They might actually use Deguara in the passing game now that the drama king is gone, who throws to who he trusts instead of throwing to whos open.

When Deguara actually gets open downfield and catches a big one, that'll be the ******* day

Right, someone would need a pretty polluted mindset to think they are cutting Deguara.

Not a polluted mindset, just an intolerance for do nothing bum idiot TEs who are 3rd round busts.  I mean only 13 catches for just over 100 yards total last year?  What kind of a joke is that?

Anyway, if Deguara is featured in any more than 10% of offensive snaps this season that probably means Musgrave and Kraft aren't cutting it, and that damn sure had better not be the case or our TE scouts got real problems.
