This guy will say anything to rationalize a draft pick or move by the team. Ā And he keeps saying he gets all his information from his team sources around the leagueā¦. Who exactly is telling this guy Youngās comp is Ngata? I can just imagine thereās a group of team scouts and execs who go way back with each other / old friends that get a kick out of feeding this guy ridiculous infoā¦ like itās a game where they try to one up each otherā¦ they probably have a group chat going to laugh about it. Ā Either that or heās just making it all up, like his āa team sourceā quotes. How come every video Hondo Carpenter does he keeps bringing up how fans are criticizing him for being a bootlicker for the front office/team. Ā He acts like it doesnāt matter To him, but itās at least on his mind because he mentions it often. This post isnāt a criticism of Young. Ā Well, obviously heās not Ngata and in fairness he says itās not about comparing styles just impact but I donāt think Young is in that category sadly. He is a strong, reasonably quick interior guy though and I think his pass rush is decent. He has some upside and the guy Iād probably compare him to is Shelby Harris watching how he rushes.
