Just meant that since Suzuki is in the same boat as Bryant/Story. I think they will prioritize them and someone else will make a bigger play for Suzuki. Mesa_Titan
interesting. So that means the “significant” offer is still out there, along with the other one. Nice to hear.

Mesa_Titan
Honestly kinda surprised Seag retired. I thought he would give it one more go somewhere else.

Same. Probably could have gotten 20-30 mil guaranteed too. Nice that he will retire as a career Mariner though.
Mesa_Titan
Really feels like we’re going to be giving up some sort of Marte/trammel package for Chapman whenever this lockout ends. Would not a be a fan. Edited January 25, 2022 by Mesa_Titan

Maybe they can get that level of prospect for Olson, but def not Chapman.

I’d be pretty upset if that was what ended up happening. We should just be getting Bryant and calling it a day.

Eagles27
BA ranked our farm #1. Not bad after graduating Kelenic and Gilbert. If our IFA signings continue to develop we should be top 10 for a while with the younger guys coming.

If he impresses he will shoot up prospect lists really quickly. Im not really getting why Hancock is getting the shaft from some of these guys, though. They act like he has some major injury. They’ve kept guys high on lists who actually had injuries.
Mesa_Titan
Does someone know something about Hancock that we don’t? He has been pretty much globally removed from top 100 lists altogether. I’m not understanding.
