Season has been a *****, and we really need to address SP this offseason. It was nice to see Zunino rebound well, hopefully he'll keep it up next year. In other news, Kyle Lewis, Joe DeCarlo, Braden Bishop and Max Povse headline those going. Povse has been interesting, he's seemed to have more success as a starter of late, after being a reliever all year. I'm going to assume White and Carlson are headed for winter ball? Really hope he can stay productive next year, a hitting catcher is pretty damn valuable, even with his K's. But I think that'll always be part of his game unfortunately. Seems like he'll be a solid arm for next year, and if all stays the course, he'd be a good addition for a playoff push. Not like our pitching could've been much worse. Season may have been different if we had him for the entire year. So many games that were just automatic losses because of our starting pitching. Hopefully Jerry fills the necessary holes this offseason. Would hate to not have a single playoff appearance with this core. Need a front line starter and a CF if we don't sign Dyson. Frees up quite a bit of cap room, but were also expected with how both pitched. Now let's try and bring in Darvish or Otani with that money.
