Sounds like a fun pick with a chance to be an NFL player.  Undersized guy, will he be able to play the run?  Packers scheme is run-gash vulnerable to start with; adding an undersized can't-stop-run guy might be problematic. On the other hand, it is true that a lot of the running is behind the line and around the edge; having some quickness may be pretty useful in run-contain.

One hesitation is the Spriggs factor.  A guy's appeal in college is his quickness.  Too small for NFL, he adds weight to get more NFL-sized... and sometimes loses the quickness that made him interesting.  Hopefully he'll be/get strong enough, but stay quick and active.

Not sure why I think this, but I think this guy wants to take someone's job. I think he probably will.

"My mindset is to take somebody's job," Brooks said. "I want to go there and make a 53-man roster, take somebody's job and really compete on the field. I'm not really trying to go there just to make the practice squad or just to say I got drafted. I'm really trying to go there and make an input on my name and my legacy. I really want to go and take somebody's job and be the best Karl Brooks that I can be."
