Levis was actually favorite to go #1 a couple weeks before the draft. Then the week of the draft it was clear that Young was gonna be the pick which reflected on the sportsbooks

The NFL is telling teams to keep the selections as private as possible to create more suspense for the draft

I feel like there hasn't been as many rumors this year tbh. Can't believe it's already this weekend.

I think it's the pick. No necessarily the charges themselves. I think chargers are interested in trading the pick

That makes sense

That chart really shows why Pratt is getting so little love, imo.

Pratts WRs were some pretty hot garbage for the most part. Once Spears got drafted last year, Tulane's offense was pretty barren in the run game, amd their WRs did not impress much.

I could totally see Pratt being a guy people look back at and go "How the heck was he available that late?"

I like Pratt. I'd prefer to take one of the earlier prospects, but I would much rather take Pratt than a Rattler or Milton. 10 out of 10 times.

My prediction for the pick tomorrow is

Terrion Arnold - CB

Dont buy the Penix hype for the Raiders at 13.  Could easily go OT here and there would be no complaints. OT depth just so much better than CB. Raiders get a day 1 starter that they can play opposite Jack Jones. Shore up the one major need on defense.

Go into Friday looking for that OT

So WireTap reporting the Raiders tried moving up to the 2nd pick and failed in their efforts. Anyone know what the disappointing offer was ? Know the FO has been given free reign to get that franchise QB but WAS needs one as well. Did hear JD doesn't want to play in WAS, want either LVR or MIN but you hear a lot of BS this time of year.

Not sure if it was even really "disappointing". .

There are a few things we simply aren't going to do such as add Maxx Crosby to a deal. Same likely goes for Adams. The rest of our valuable assets mostly on rookie deals or we'd genuinely regress by trading them. You can bet they're not creating another hole just to fill another.

The problem we have is that most likely expect us to dramatically improve over the next year or 2, meaning our 1st round pick is expected to slowly diminish in value, as opposed to a desperate team trying to rebuild from the ground up.

We may have offered 3 1sts to move up. But if the Commanders thought that would be 2024 13, 2025 20, 2026 24, that may be not quite as appealing. Still not a disappointment though.

I mean, we could trade our next 4 draft classes, Adams, and Crosby to Washington if we truly wanted to. But then I guarantee a disappointment- from the fans when something that dumb would inevitably blow up.

If anything,, I'm glad we didn't move up with Washington. Based on a few reports and instances now, I don't think they're a particularly professional or reasonable lot. The number 2 pick does have immense value, but every pick has a limit. For all we know, Washington is asking for something utterly unrealistic.

We have the tools to make a realistic trade with them, but at what cost? If nothing else, I'm damn proud that our FO is apparently willing to set boundaries regardless of what pick/player it may be and not do something dumb and short sighted when dealing with entirely unproven NFL prospects.

Way to try and disguise that troll attempt....

If you want to talk disappointing, it's Denver's Stidham/Zach Wilson camp battle. Or the new Great Value Jersey's. At least you now they look as low budget as they play.

Well, who better than to try and identify a disguised troll attempt than you. However, mine was a legit, simple question : what was the offer to WAS, do you know ?

Don't know. A few reports have come out that they want to stand pat at #2 afterall, and a couple teams tried to get that pick.

Who knows what's true I suppose. But what we've offered hasn't come out yet.

This iS the season of the smoke screen, but I do feel like the Raiders were probable to try and get into position to try and land Daniels, especially since rumor had it he wants to play for LVR or MIN.

That's true. There's a slight chance they're using that public comment to get more compensation come draft day. Maybe they've got a bidding war on their hand and don't want to let up just yet?
