Does his foot stick in the ground rather than coming up if it's on natural grass rather than turf?

Hard to say.

"Never let a good crisis go to waste" is probably what the players are saying.

Have to admit I'm confused by all the attention on the turf on this one. Had nothing to do with it I didn't think

Even suggesting it is a bit F’d up.

Guy likely is done for the season and maybe his career is over  and people are like

’maybe he shouldn’t hold the ball so long’

or

’ maybe if he advocated for another lineman instead of WRs this wouldn’t have happened ‘

It’s ridiculous

The truth is never ridiculous

the simple fact is no one was open, imagine that, the QB who plays for years for us when receivers to often couldn't separate stayed upright because of great OL play couldn't without it. the problem is with OL and receivers, as usual you blame the QB when obviously his protection was terrible.

The Tackle cut Floyd to give Rodgers the window. The receiver was wide open on the slant and was open way earlier than this was taken.

But Rodgers wasn't looking for it. He was looking for the seam route and Lazard who was covered on the in route.

There's no discussion to be had here about who was responsible for him getting hit. It was on Rodgers.

The only discussion here is whether or not we're in bad taste for talking about it.

I'm suggesting who the f... cares? Guy blew out his achilles, no reason to analyze the play any further, sucks to see his season end like that.

Some of the comments in this thread are disgusting and it is no surprise who they are coming from.

Maybe it's a mindset thing.

I'm an engineer and naturally relate to solution seekers after an unsavory outcome. The first part of that is root cause analysis.

That's what people are doing now.

What is the root cause of this injury? Although the Jets OL is trash, and probably that was in Rodgers mind all off-season, he STILL ate the ball and tried to put a move on a DE. Resulting in a severe injury. A big reason is because he's OLD for the NFL and NEEDS to have had adjusted his play style to stay available for his team.

No it's not lol

There's no one more sensitive in this world than Aaron Rodgers defenders.

Right. Showing no empathy towards a guy whose career is likely over is completely normal.

It’s pointless talking to you people about this. The level of hatred you guys have towards this guy is intense and weird. It’s like he did something personally to hurt you

You're too sensitive to realize how far off base you are.

I don't think it is bad taste to say that was probably his fault that he got hit. He didnt go through the progression correctly etc. But some of the comments in here, from one particular poster, as always, take it way too far.

Does Aaron get hurt on that play if he plays on time and in rhythm? Yes or no answer.
