He’ll definitely be there next year and then they can work out a LTD if they want to. We should be doing a similar trade if we aren’t going to make Scherff the highest paid OG in the NFL. I really think he’s a good commentator but man his homerism comes out during Cowboys games. The Cowboys also just hired a competent HC who will use their offensive playmakers better and the culture/lockeroom will have more accountability. Jerry should’ve made this hire last February, if he had, they probably would’ve won 10 games and the NFCE. If Dak is franchised or re-signed and Cooper is franchised or re-signed, I expect the Cowboys to win the NFCE in 2020. He will put them in a position to win.
