Apparition
Garoppolo's first career interception comes on an almost perfect throw on 3rd and 9 that just straight up got taken out of Louis Murphy's hands.

Even the great ones have to have a first interception. Hopefully all the rest will be similar - unless the Pats need one. Had he looked impressive? Hard to tell from the opposition and box score. He looked like the same guy we saw last year, but with a considerably weaker supporting cast. He was money on 3rd down and leaned pretty hard on Trent Taylor, the Niners' slot receiver. Didn't do so hot in the red zone, but a lot of that was IMO poor playcalling and penalties pushing the Niners back.
scottishpatriot
What a fall from the top from the Chiefs. Has a team that was the last to be defeated ever missed the playoffs before? There could be a virtual three way tie in the AFC West tomorrow morning.
ChazStandard
Green Bay could make the post-season. Which is bonkers.

I don’t remember if they were the last to be undefeated but both the 2016 Vikings and 2015 Falcons had similarly hot starts and similarly abysmal burnouts. Amazing what happens when a QB gets pressured, the run game doesn't blow teams out of the water, the defense gives up points, and the QB isn't in a perfect situation and has to throw to carry the team how much worse non-Brady players look. Wentz is going to have down week's regardless, he is way too young not to.

Another reason why I wouldn't be surprised to see the Eagles lose before the SB despite having the best talent in the NFC pretty comfortably. If im an Iggies fan I am not super bowl or bust mode yet. They are young and upcoming, Wentz should only improve and they will have stronger years for a SB run. Obviously going this year would be awesome for them, but wouldnt be season wasted. Apparition
I know there's still a half to go and the Steelers defense is probably demoralized from what happened to Shazier, but it sure is nice of Dalton to not suck in primetime for once.
